Due to the moderate hydrothermal treatment they undergo during manufacturing, bamboo furniture boards exhibit excellent sealing performance, effectively preventing issues such as insect infestations, fungal diseases, and mold growth. The slicing process for bamboo furniture boards is similar to that used for veneer—bamboo laminates are cut using a slicing machine into thin sheets typically 0.6 mm thick.
